Packing list for two different climates & a wedding

35 °C

We're staying in Seoul at a really awesome Airbnb in Hongdae District. When I was researching places and areas to stay, Hongdae came up as a hip district with a young partying crowd. It's named after Hongdae University. So basically, we'll be in the party district with a bunch of college students milling around. Can't wait. It will be freakin cold in Seoul- average temp of 35 degrees. My packing list for Korea included warm winter wear, boots, gloves, scarf, heavy parka, long sleeved shirts and jeans.

When we get to Cebu, it will be hot, humid, and tropical so I will be bringing the usual beachy attire - shorts, day dresses, swimsuit and sunnies. I'm a bridesmaid in my girlfriends beach wedding so had to pack my dress and wedges for the ceremony.

Traveling light

It all begins with proper planning and experience as with most things in life. Remembering to check the weather and having an idea of what we'll most likely will be doing is definitely at the top of the list.

Our trip will be more enjoyable once we have less weight to carry. Going through security a breeze, navigating public transport simple, and walking to the airbnb will be no sweat. Doesn't that sound great? Yep.

Tonight was our trial run to see if we can squeeze everything into a carry-on and a backpack. It was successful (but the true test comes the day of departure - last minute things we suddenly remember, or things that we must have with us).
